Mission Statement for the ENSEMBLE
The goal of the MHS Orchestra is to be an ensemble that performs string orchestra repertoire that is equal parts fun and challenging, educational and entertaining and to inspire both players and listeners to appreciate the beauty of music for a lifetime.

Mission Statement for the STUDENT
The goal of the MHS Orchestra is to equip each student to be an independent, proactive musician who is capable of independently performing music of any style through the creative unity of rhythm, pitch, and music literacy.
